Never stop growing
If you haven't seen Pixar's The Incredibles, it's definitely worth watching. Below is from a scene where the super suit designer is revisiting her past work with a client.
Edna: This is a hobo suit, darling. You can't be seen in this. I won't allow it. Fifteen years ago, maybe, but now? Feh!
Bob: Wait, what do you mean? You designed it.
Edna: I never look back, darling! It distracts from the now.
Graphic design isn't something that you do once, it's perfect, and you move on. It's a constantly evolving image.
Your logo, colors, images, everything, is meant to be improved. Always. While we obviously don't recommend you reinvent the wheel every quarter, we also would like to remind you that marketing (and by extension, design) is a shifting target and a fickle, easy-to-bore audience. Have fun with it, think outside the box, take more chances.
